Individual Counselling & Psychotherapy

I provide counselling and psychotherapy for adults navigating anxiety, relationship challenges, grief, burnout, life transitions, low self-esteem, and the lasting impact of difficult life experiences. Together, we'll better understand the emotional and relational dynamics and patterns shaping your life, process the experiences that may be keeping you stuck, and develop practical strategies that help you move toward greater confidence, connection, and fulfilment.

If you’re ready to begin, I’d love to help you take the next step.

At some point, all of us encounter experiences that feel too difficult, too painful, or too overwhelming to carry on our own.

Whether you're navigating a recent challenge or longstanding patterns that no longer serve you, therapy offers a safe, non-judgmental space to slow down, make sense of what's happening, and begin moving toward meaningful change.

Wherever you find yourself, you don't have to navigate it alone.

    In-Person 50-Minute Counselling Sessions

    $165 / 50-Minute Session

In-person therapy offers a dedicated space to slow down, make sense of your experiences, and move toward the changes you're hoping for. Some people come to therapy to navigate a specific challenge or life transition, while others are looking to better understand emotional or relational dynamics that have been with them for years.

Together, we'll find a pace that supports your goals, whether that's weekly, bi-weekly, or another schedule that feels right for you.

    Virtual 50-Minute Counselling Sessions

    $165 / 50-Minute Session

Virtual therapy offers the same collaborative, evidence-based approach as in-person sessions, allowing you to access support from the comfort and privacy of your own space. Many people appreciate the flexibility of online therapy because of a busy schedule, travel, mobility, or living outside the Greater Victoria Area.

To ensure the best experience, you'll need a quiet, private space where you can speak freely and a reliable internet connection. If technical difficulties arise during a session, we can continue by telephone when appropriate.

Tailoring Therapy to You

There are many effective approaches to therapy, and no single modality is the right fit for every person or every situation.

Rather than working from one framework alone, I thoughtfully integrate evidence-based approaches to reflect your unique experiences, strengths, goals, and the stage of life you're in.

While people often come to therapy because of anxiety, relationship challenges, burnout, grief, perfectionism, or difficult life experiences and transitions, these concerns rarely exist in isolation. They are often connected through deeper emotional, relational, and nervous system patterns that have developed over time.

By drawing from a range of approaches, I can tailor therapy to what will be most supportive for you rather than expecting you to fit a particular model.

Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy (EFIT)

At the heart of my work is Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy (EFIT), an evidence-based, attachment-focused, integrative approach to psychotherapy that helps us better understand and reshape the emotional and relational processes influencing your life.

Whether you’re navigating anxiety, relationship challenges, perfectionism, low self-esteem, or the lasting impact of difficult life experiences, together, we'll gently explore the emotions, needs, and protective strategies that have developed over time, making sense of how they once helped you cope and how they may now be keeping you stuck.

Rather than only talking about your experiences, we'll also slow down and pay attention to what's happening in the moment. By building a secure therapeutic relationship and exploring emotions, bodily sensations, and relational patterns as they naturally emerge within our sessions, therapy becomes an opportunity to experience yourself in new ways, creating meaningful and lasting change both within yourself and in your relationships.

  • “I'm really glad I found Victoria. She seemed to understand what I was trying to say, even when I couldn't quite put it into words myself. She's incredibly kind and easy to talk to, and asks thoughtful questions that helped me see patterns I hadn't noticed before. I always left feeling like I understood myself a little better.”

    Morgan

You don't need to have everything figured out before reaching out.

Together, we'll make sense of what's been difficult and work toward a life that feels more grounded, intentional, and aligned with who you are.
