Hi, I’m Victoria

I'm so glad you're here.

I know that looking for a therapist can feel overwhelming. Inviting someone into the parts of your life that feel vulnerable takes courage and finding someone who feels like the right fit matters. My hope is to create a space where you feel genuinely understood. A space where you don't have to have the right words, where difficult emotions are welcomed with curiosity rather than judgment, and where lasting change happens not because you're told what to do, but because together we begin to understand your experiences in a new way.

What Guides My Work

The way I approach therapy is shaped by more than training and experience. It's guided by a set of beliefs about what helps people feel safe, understood, and as they move toward greater emotional freedom and fulfilment. These values shape the way I listen, ask questions, and work alongside you in every session.

    Compassion

I believe change begins with compassion. Every person deserves to feel accepted without judgment, especially during life's most difficult moments. Together, we'll cultivate greater kindness and understanding toward yourself, replacing self-criticism with curiosity and self-compassion.

  • A joyful pregnant woman smiling with her eyes closed, being kissed on the cheek by a man, with a small child standing beside them outdoors at sunset.

    Authentic Connection

The therapeutic relationship is one of the strongest predictors of positive change. My hope is to create a space where you feel safe enough to be yourself, knowing you'll be met with warmth, honesty, respect, and genuine care. I believe healing often happens within relationships, and ours can become an important part of that process.

    Curiosity

Rather than asking, "What's wrong with me?", I believe therapy invites different questions, such as "What happened?" and "What makes sense?" Through curiosity, we can better understand the emotions, relationships, and protective strategies that have shaped your life and create space for greater self-awareness and emotional growth.

    Growth

I don't believe therapy is about becoming a different person. I believe it's about developing a different relationship with yourself, others, and the world around you. Together, we'll work toward greater self-understanding, emotional flexibility, and confidence so you can move through life with more intention and authenticity.

What It’s Like to Work With Me

A warm, collaborative approach grounded in genuine connection.

Therapy is a relationship before it's a technique. My counselling style is warm, collaborative, and engaged, creating space for honesty, curiosity, humour, and the difficult moments too. I’ll meet you where you are, adapting our work to your unique strengths, needs, and pace, with the aim of helping you feel understood, gently challenged, and more connected to yourself.

Education, Experience, & Ongoing Learning

Grounded in evidence. Guided by curiosity.

My work is shaped by a Master of Education in Counselling Psychology, specialized training in Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy (EFIT), and more than a decade of experience supporting youth and adults across private practice, healthcare, business, and social work settings.

Inclusivity and Diversity

Everyone Is Welcome Here

I strive to create a therapeutic space where people of all backgrounds, identities, cultures, beliefs, relationship structures, abilities, and life experiences feel genuinely welcomed, respected, and valued. I recognize that every person's story is shaped by their unique experiences, and that my own perspectives are influenced by my background and identity. I remain committed to ongoing learning, self-reflection, and providing counselling that is compassionate, culturally responsive, trauma-informed, and respectful of each person's unique lived experience.

I welcome individuals of all races, ethnicities, religions, sexual orientations, gender identities and expressions, neurotypes, abilities, and socioeconomic backgrounds. My hope is that you feel safe to show up as yourself, knowing you'll be met with warmth, curiosity, and respect.
